Food was good. But they know a Canadian Jays fan when the see one. If you're expecting a $3 plate, go somewhere else.

Group of 8 biked there, plenty of seats at 9:30 am. Great food cool outside so 5 had their delicious Oatmeal.

Cute little diner near downtown Dunedin. Nice outdoor seating behind restaurant that back up to bike trail. Food and service was great. The prices aren't too bad either.

I live around the corner from this place. We tried it a few weeks ago before christmas and liked it. The food was great even though our server was extremely slow, she was at least nice. We just went today and we ended up walking out without even getting water to our table. We sat for just under 15 minutes and no one ever came to our table. I do unfortunately believe the server we had before was supposed to have our table. 3 tables who came in after us, seated in different sections were served. Because of this, I don't think we'll go back. It's unfortunate because we were hoping this would be a regular breakfast spot for us! Guess we'll just pick a different one in Dunedin!

A quaint medium sized restaurant directly across from the Dunedin Library. The host was visibly taken aback by our request to sit next to the window. It was the first time I experienced a cup of tea with no additional hot water (the small pitcher). But, I asked for it and it was provided. I asked for water and it never came. The crepes were delicious and the food looked pictured perfect. But, the grits were lukewarm which made them really thick. The hostess was civil but, did not feel welcoming. My impression was honoring a customers request to sit in a certain area was not a normal customer service practice (odd).

Home Plate is a locally owned and managed by the owner. I have been there several times for Breakfast and Lunch. The regular menu is very good, but the daily specials are just that, SPECIAL. There is always something for everyone on the Specials Board and they are always delicious. I recall the very first time I grabbed a Special of an Egg Salad Sandwich, no kidding it was the best Egg Salad Sandwich that I have ever had. The servings are always generous and the staff is very attentive. I heartily recommend enjoying a breakfast or lunch at the Home Plate.

Excellent breakfast. Home cooking without the hassle plus Mimosas! What's not to love? Taylor was a great server, attractive and offered helpful suggestions. I had the corned beef hash and friend had the strawberry French toast. Both were outstanding. Highly recommend.

Really had a very nice lunch at Home Plate, as we took a break from riding Pinneles Trail. They have circular tables set up in back, just off trail & food and server Taylor were great. Will be our go to place from now on when riding trail.

Oh man, this place hit the spot after a morning biking on the Pinellas Trail! They are right on the Trail and have a nice sign and path coming down into the restaraunt. The waiter was friendly and food amazing! I had a brie/asparagus/mushroom/spinach omelet with grits.

Great place to stop for a bite to eat. On game days at the TD Bank ball park, it is exceptionally popular. We stopped in for lunch before going to the Blue Jays game and were pleased with the service even though they were overwhelmed with customers. Other days the pace is more relaxed, but excellent.

Food was cold! Server was non attentive and by the time they rwturned we were on a swcond cup of hot coffee and ready to go. Won't return,

Great breakfast food and the staff was friendly. Absolutely loved the banana crepes which had I believe homemade Banana syrup on it. It was not overly sweet either. Was in town for 4 days and ate here twice.

The best Eggs Benedict around! The Home Plate has a great menu. The only thing it's missing is a decent patio. The one out front is basically in the parking lot and full sun in the morning.

Great breakfast place if you're anywhere around Dunedin. You don't need to be hiking or biking on the trail. It has parking lot access off of Douglas also.

What a great restaurant by Cindy Phillips.ahe has made this place taste like home you'll never leave hungry. Everything is fresh fresh fresh.. Love this lil place 234 Douglas ave Dunedin a my try and right on the pinellas trail also. Win win for all travelers

I’ve been eating here about once a week for almost a year as I had project in the town, I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is great and the staff even better. I’m going to miss coming here.

Cute breakfast diner off the Pinellas trail, across from the Blue Jay Stadium, and just down the road from downtown Dunedin.They’re open 7a-2:30p every day. They have indoor and outdoor seating, the service was great, and the pancakes were perfect! 🥞😋 Seems like a great spot to bring the family. I’ll definitely be stopping by again.

The food is always great but they need more servers especially if they know that the Blue Jays are playing right across the street.

Casual no frills place to grab a good breakfast before a long ride on the Pinellas trail. Easy access from the trail. Staff are friendly and attentive -- my coffee was constantly topped off. I did a build your own omelette which was good. Coffee was better than your average breakfast joint. I would describe this place as a step up from your typical Waffle house or Denny's. I'll definitely be putting this place in my breakfast rotation.

Great place for breakfast or lunch! We went before a baseball game and it was busy, so be patient and get there early. But the staff was friendly and the food was tasty! Definitely recommend it.
